just been cheaking the cb works before we go away, any how i in my van i can send out and be recived loud and clear, but reciving it sound is very low, even with the volume set to its max.

has any one got any ideas

do you have the squelch up ?...

oh sorry..didnt read that quite right...erm..is there an external speaker switch on it?if not try pushing a jack plug in and out of the rear speaker connector in case the internal switch is a bit dicky :ok

could also be a broken wire in the mic :ok
