power steering converion

Post by NewarkNutter »

I have been reading "How to convert VW bus or van to camper"
In there is a section detailing how to fit power steering to a "t3" i.e. t25.
As anyone done this?
Is it successful?
What sort of costs are involved?
Are any parts available from other vehicles which could be sourced second hand?
The book does mention some passat parts, such as fluid reservoir.

Any info would be gratefully received.

Andy (Newarknutter) Air-cooled 83 t25 camper.
