you don't have to have a leisure...

if you just do weekends without shore power a code 096 will suffice.

OK
Well horns has given you the name of a good leisure that fits in the box under the seat.
I can talk you through wiring the loom to it

We got ours from Alpha batteries after seeing it on here as a recommendation. £60 next day delivery and all good! they do do different sizes so make sure you get the correct size for under the seat!

What the blithering heck is that.. egyptian? :D

batteries are in mm dimentions and the box dimentions are in the wiki.
So they are
310mm wide x 175mm deep (front to back) x 190mm high thiese are maximums

this is one from Alpha batteries
Specifications
12 V
80AH
600cca

Deep Cycle Technology

Dimensions
285mm Long
175mm Wide
175mm Height

these dimensions are from a code 096..

Dimensions(mm)
278 x 175 x 190
and that fits too

The Elecsol fits nicely under the seat - but it is very slightly tall, so if you have the hinged metal lid it won't close completely. Doesn't bother me - although if you don't have revolving seats you might find moving the seat right back catches on it.

The Autosleeper shiraz has does have that swivel seat, so I guess he does need a battery that will go under the plate.

If you have the swivel seat, you don't need a battery that fits under the lid - the swivel base raises the seat a bit and allows it to clear the lid even when its standing proud an inch or so.

??
the bottom base overhangs the battery.. less room
and there is a lid on the 'sleeper Aux battery too, similar to the metal ones..'cept it's sensibly wooden. :D

My max gap for it to fit would be 280 mm x 165 mm x 160 mm i measured under driver seat and its deeper than passenger :?: .Was hoping to get a battery to fit under the wood lid ok to not look unsightly or to not interfere when got seat swivelled round. Was bit surprised when got the van there was not one fitted wouldn't it be a standard fix on new autosleepers ?
Thinking will have to take it in somewhere & just pay some auto electrician whatever to prob rig 1 up in engine bay (would that cause any issues you think chaps ?)

No. The swivel base raises the seat, which means it doesn't catch on the battery lid when slid back - more room.

Wood makes sense though - I had to line the inside of my lid so it wouldn't short.
