Window size on crew cab

Hi,

I am new to owning a VW, so everything is a learning curve for me.

I have a 1988 crew cab, and the rear o/s window is missing. I am going to get a bit cut but am unsure of the size it should be. This may be a silly question, but should the glass be exactly the same size as the hole or do I leave a space all the way round? I have the rubber left, so do not need another one of those.

Unless someone knows a company that do these off the shelf??

Claim it on the insurance. The windscreen co. will source one!
