Re: blackpool camping
The sad thing about Blackpool is there is only one Caravan club site (CL) that is within walking distance of the Prom/Tower/Shopping areas.
The only site I can recommend is one called Piper Heights which is about 4 miles out of town....There are others but the choice is yours.
If you are up for a bit of wild camping, you will find a small selection of campers parked up just before the Pleasurebeach on the side streets just off the prom.
OR at the North end of the promenade going towards Fleetwood outside the parking restrictions you will find campervans staying overnight , but it is a well known spot for cottaging so if someone knocks on your door asking for a ham shank, just ignore them and they will move on.
Regards
