Leisure battery option positive on left or right??

Post by jiffies »

Now this sounds like a daft question & I'm sure it is? Looking at buying a 100A leisure battery to go under drivers seat (Thinking of an Elecsol 100) I have the option of the positive on the left or right??? Can you not simply just turn battery around accordingly?
What do I need? Do I want positive closer to middle of van or drivers door?
Any other comments on choice of battery appreciated
Cheers

If there isn't already a battery fitted and wiring in place then it makes no difference. I'm assuming you will be taking wires to the battery rather than the battery to the wires.

My thoughts exactly! I thought I was going mad! No battery currently in place so wires can go anywhere
