Heh.

Some caravans have external BBQ points and there are some very expensive bits available to make your own from specialist caravan parts places.

Your Gas BBQ however uses a standard low pressure hose to connect to the regulator on a gas bottle. You probably need a longer hose, a low pressure quick release fitting (male and female), an appropriate tap or isolator, some pipe to get you from your existing gas supply to where you want to mount it and a T piece to tie it in.

All of this can be purchased at reasonable prices from http://www.bes.co.uk, or request a free catalogue from them for browsing through on the bog.

Yet another job I never got round to, sigh.

obviously you will be an experienced gas fitter or at least will have your installation checked by one when you are finished for safetys sake!

Assume your westy tank has the same as mine some sort of quick release outlet after the regulater, the instructions say you can use for external equipment or if you flick the switch over you can hook up an external gas bottle to feed the appliances.

Would also be interested in being able to use for a Gas BBQ.

Need to pop into a caravan or motorhome service centre and see what they say, unless someone already knows?

I said, sheesh.

The readymade caravan one is a ripoff.

As dave says, , I got a refillable tank fitted for leisure use and have got all my bits from bes. so have a Q/R coupling for the outside bbq etc. works a treat and I carry a small cyc' for when we want to take the bbq down the beach etc.
