Cooking gas hose pipe
In preparation for Bus Stop Over I decided to change my gas bottle over for a full one I had in the shed.
Managed to tear the hose pipe at the regulator so now I need to replace that but I have no idea where or what to get.
Help!
Is it something I'm likely to source at Bus Stop Over or should I try to find a camping shop or is it more specialist?
TIA
Sarah
ps: it's got Calor 1984 on it so must've been original LOL.

Towsure or similar will do the pipe. Brickwerks also sell gas pipe.

if it was right next to the bottle cut it flush and re attach, or any camping shop should stock it!

Supposed to be changed every 5 years or so, I think? Any decent camping or caravan shop near you will sell it.

Re: Cooking gas hose pipe
Sarah if you get really stuck give me a shout. Loads of camping and caravan shops round this way. I'm going to Stopover so I can pick you some up and take it with me.

Re: Cooking gas hose pipe
Thanks everyone - there's a outdoorsy type shop up the road who have got the hose in stock.
£2.99 a metre which is pretty steep IMO but they are local and I only need a metre and they're open till 6pm.

Sounds about right, works out at 60p a year if you change it regularly

What a long strange trip it's been

Re: Cooking gas hose pipe
Don't mess about with ordinary rubber hose. Use only proper gas hose rated for caravan or motorhome use, not something from car accessory shop!
Got a local caravan dealership near you? They should be able to help and its not expensive for the correct stuff.
