headlights flash when indicating!

Post by android »

hello, i have recently replaced the high beam led on my dashboard and everything seemed to work fine....for a while.
now all of a sudden when i indicate my high beam led and indicator led flash alternately with the front headlights flashing instead of the indicators and when i put on my headlights, the high beam led stays lit and my front indicators light up and the headlights dont :? this has me completly baffled and cant see anything wrong. does anyone have any ideas what this may be?
thank you for reading and helping if you can :D xxx

hello there, I would suspect the earth crown which is located behind the fuse box where all the earths attach to the chassis

My indicators would stop when i hit the brake pedal but then start again when you take your foot off the pedal, most electrical problems in these vans seem to come back to faulty earths!

might be wrong but worth a check if you need more info just search "earth crown"

hi and thanks for the reply:)checked all my earths and everything seems fine. also the problem seems to have gone now after a few well placed taps of the dash front so i guess it may have been a loose conection or something:) hopeing it doesnt come back at night when i may well need my lights :o
thanks again  xxx
