Just looking at your pic again – I can't believe how clean it looks – has the interior been resprayed or have you just been scrubbing?!

its clean now, was very messy with 30 years of grime under and behind the units. we spent a long week end washing it out and rust treating, glad it shows. was worth it then,

I do like the blue ledge & brace door in place of the normal tailgate.

Well thought out looking stoarge though - how will you finish the timber - varnish, paint, laminate?

Did you build it yourself? I'm toying with the idea of a re-fit as I've got some seam rust to get sorted and I very much doubt I have the patience or ability to remove my interior intact and re-fit!

yes i did it myself and it is finished in maple vaneer. thought it wouls make it nice and bright inside instead of the dark brown of the devon original. my better half has covered the interior and door cards in ivory vinyl. dont worry the tailgate will be replaced before winter gets here.
