Post by tomsneade »

Hi campers, Ive just had cause to call out a recovery man cos my van woul not start again and he diagnosed a faulty "stop solenoid". I have be in touch with my local suppliers and they need to know if its attached to a CAV or BOSCH thingy but there is nothing printed on the thingy! Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any help. Tom. :?:

If the engine is original then it's a Bosch. Very few VW engines have CAV.
1.9D (AEF) pop-top. Aaaaahhhhh........that's better.
