Looks like my hall effect sensor in the distributor is faulty. I've got a shiney new one ready to fit. My question is do I need to remove the dizzy or can I fit in situ? I'm trying to avoid the need to get it re-timed.
Thanks
Stu

Simple enough, make yourself two notches, one on dizzy, one on block then you can remove it and realign later. Bit cramped trying to do in situ.

as long as the hall sensor goes in exactly the same place as the old one.... even 1 mm in there will have an effect....

All done, seems ok, certainly seemed to start a bit easier. Took it off in the end, very tricky to do in situ.
