ARB bushes?

Post by ropeman23 »

My anti-roll bar is making a horrible clonking noise over bumps. Both the link arms are intact. Is it just a matter of taking the bar off and replacing all the bushes? Do the link arms have a habbit of breaking when removing? Should they be replaced as well? Do I need any special tools? Thanks.

The link arms do have a habit of breaking but 3in 1 spray over a couple of days should take some of the risk away.

No special tools it's an easy job might be worth looking on the brickwerks site as the have the poly bushes which helps get rid of drifting over the motorway but also stiffens the ride.

There's plenty of advice on here about them

Thanks.

Just checked Simons at Brickwerks out. They look good. That said I did have problems running polly bushes on anod Mini of mine. After a year they needed replacing due to them becming miss-shaped. Do you think they were just rubbish ones?
