speedo not working

Hi my sppedo is not working or mileometer but the rev counter is on my joker westy, i have just had the clock unit off to wire up new headlights they were working before this any tips

Check the speedo cable is properly engaged into the unit at the back - just take it off and put it back on again ensuring everything locates where it should. I doubt that simply removing the unit would cause actual damage to the clock itself.
