double bunk

Post by Jon Bisson GSY »

hi,
Just finished sorting a double front bunk for the kids after junking the hi top. I have fitted a JK cab bunk above, not fully happy with the quality, but it works. The bottom bunk I made, the flat bar slots in the front and hooks over the seat belt bolt. As you can see the tube is notched to fit the notches in the flat to keep the fabric under tension. To remove you just pop the tubes up and slide the bar out. Kids bounced around on it today and its far more sturdy than the top one.
