Header tanks
ok, I can see a minimum fill line, but how mch should I fill the header tank ? (1.6D).
I have no idea where it came from, or what it is, but it's looking right at me.

Header tank (inside the engine compartment) fill it to the brim, that then spits out ant extra to the top up (behind the number plate flap) as it expands & contracts. Check the wiki for all the details about bleeding and levels and coolant mix etc
What a long strange trip it's been
