Swivel seat base extra clearance?

Post by uniB »

Just wondering – does a swivel seat base give and more clearance for the battery? I guess you could add a spacer between the base and the body but be good if you got a couple of cm without

Standard VW/Westfailure swivels come in bolt-in and weld-in ... the bolt-in are on top of the existing runners, the weld-in are between the existing runners. I guess the former may give a tad more clearance while the latter may be the about the same as standard.

Hope this helps, Ian.
