Emberton Country park

Post by happy camper »

just off the A509 between Milton Keynes and Northamptom near a beautiful town called Olney in Buckinghamshire, Olney is only a 20 min walk from the site and has everything you'll need if you forgot summat. £25 per night for a pitch with electrical hookup, showers / toilets are nice and clean. Once your in theres plenty to do, Lakes for fishing, walks around the park several play areas for the kids wide open spaces for cricket / rounders / football, we had a great weekend and once we were in we never spent a penny, we had 4 adults and 5 kids including 2 very hard to please 14 year old girls and everyone had a great time not one kid muttered the "i'm bored" line, saturday eve we let off chinese lanterns the kids loved it watching them float up and away over the park. You can drive right around the inner park so even a day tripper ( £3.60 ) per vehicle can go in park up by the lake and have a BBQ / Picnic, There is also a wild camping feild with a drinking water supply but i'm unsure of cost for a pitch.

Emberton gets a huge 10 out of 10 from the happy campers :ok :ok :ok :ok

Totally agree Happy Camper, we had a couple of nights stop at Emberton CP some years back. Olney is lovely and very historic we really enjoyed our stay :D .
Its on the road to Nowhere, no one passes by.
No one comes to Norfolk, without a reason why.

We were there last weekend. It was my 40th birthday, so me and some friends set up camp. There was a really good show of T25's and the odd T2. It really is a great location.
