Need Recon / new engine for T25 please help

Hi all - I'm a new member so forgive any ignorant protocol blunders!! I have an F Reg VW Pop Top T25 with a Flat 4 2 l petrol engine - water cooled. Iv'e been told there is low compression in 2 cylinders most likely due to burnt valves and a new or recon engine is recommended rather than a rebuild. Can anyone tell me PLEASE who I can approach in Gloucestershire to do this sort of work? What engine can I use? How much is likely cost for engine and fitting? Most important - is name and number of a reliable contact / garage that can do the work ( if this is allowed on here ). Sorry this is a bit long. I don't have any technical know how but looking to you guys to help out. Thanks Rob
