Squeals and screeches

Post by syncropaddy »

Those of us who were at Mammutpark and those of us who have watched the videos will have heard the squeals and screeches from fan belts and power steering pumps.
Is there any effective way of stopping these noises? Even the banshees around my way are objecting....

my screeching[from the alternator] was cured by replacing the alternator pulley.

Must admit, ive not used it myself but ive heard good reports from others that have had the squeals.

Some even say Coca Cola does the same job....... (but apparently the police use it to clean blood off the roads too....apparently.....

Yup Diet Coke works for a short period of time and yes, I've heard the cops use it to get stubborn blood stains off the roads! Coca Cola concentrate is one of the best de-greasers about!
