air cooled oil leak through the petrol pump
i have a 2.0 litre air cooled transporter,fitted with elecfric fuel pump,it still has the origanel pump fitted which has just started dripping oil,one of the neighbours used to work on beetles ,he reckons remove old pump and replace with blanking plate is that right?

Yep. You could make a blanking plate if you have the tools although the custom beetle one should fit ok.

Yes fit a blanking plate. The ones made for BMC A series engines fit. Usually available on ebay, get a sheet of gasket paper as well and make your own gasket.
