AAZ manifold clearancing turbo

Gents

I am installing an aaz engine with a KKK turbo, the engine previously in the van was a 1.6D hence I do not have the turbo manifold. I have got to the point, where I need to get the turbo to fit, it currently clashes with the engine mount. It looks like I have a couple of options
- try and locate a JX manifold, add material around the ports and remove material to match the aaz exhaust ports to the JX manifold
-cut about at the engine mounts,
-Modify the wastegate on the turbo as per the below picture, I have a could of questions about this though, would the actuator need resetting up? if so how, has anone else tried this method?

Hi, have not been on this forum for a while but that is my picture you have posted. I have now done over 4000 miles with this set up, I did have a problem with a dirty injector that lunched the engine but the new engine is working great. To reset the waste gate get yourself a turbo gauge and just adjust the actuator screw to give you the required boost. It would be easier if you had a KKK turbo (I think)

Like you I am in the middle of the same conversion, writing up what I am doing as and when (JX to AAZ Conversion). I was lucky to start with a JX to do the work with, owever I stumbled upon a van for sale that had a damaged AAZ so, with a friend, bough the van. I have had the conversion bits engine and gearbox and he wants the rest. After a fair bit of research, mainly on here :ok, I have fond that the most straight forward way is to use the JX manifolds. I did look at the possibility of a JX exhaust with an AAZ Inlet, however I could not locate a pipe that would allow me to connect the turbo to inlet. I have gone with getting the JX inlet modified to allow it to be used on the AAZ engine.

Now, in fear of being told off for advertising, I have a spare Exhaust and Inlet manifold that I would be willing to sell if you think it would make things easier for you. The inlet would need the modification doing to it and the heat-shield studs on the exhaust manifold are very much are their best. Let me know if you would be interested?
