Help please do you have a Reimo high top camper?

Post by toolsntat »

Hope this is not seen as yet another plug for the Sale

Owing trying to sell my Reimo I would be interested if someone has the same roof as mine and it is used for sleeping up top in any way :?:

The more I look at it there seams a good chance I could have some sort of extra board missing which when in position does allow the extra length for sleeping.....

This has been a major stumbling block in the purchase of this camper for quite a few people who have been interested in it

So if you have one at all would there be any chance of a picture or two of how yours works please?

This model is called a Whitehouse if the sticker on the back is ought to go by  and as things are it seems to be bit of a rarity

So please any info or comments would be welcome as the camper needs to be sold 8) 8)

Thank you
Andy

Hi Andy

We have a Reimo high top which we've had since October. The interior is very similar to yours although ours isn't a whitehouse (not heard that reference before, but still learning). Ours only sleeps two, so we use the awning to sleep in aswell. The high top on ours looks very similar to yours. The top section at the back of ours has a panel that is fitted to stop anything falling off the storage area at the back.

Hope this helps a little.

How much headroom you got up there ?
Thats the critical thing beds can be created if the space is big enough

We've got a similar reimo conversion, it's a very high top and about 4-5ft deep in the rear section with a lip at the front edge. I've considered removing the lip to adapt it when our little one gets bigger in years to come with an extra Roof panel. As a prospective buyer I don't think it would seem too big a conversion to be honest,
I'd be more worried about rust on the outside of a van if I was buying it!
Good luck, I'm sure you'll find a taker! :ok

Been and had another look at it and now sure there is enough room to make it a full 4 berth by putting another board in as others have said 8) 8)

Sizes are wide enough, 45" deep and 15" high :ok

So what do ya reckon sort it to sleep em or leave and sell as is with the understanding they have the option there when/if required :?:

Thing is its going to cost in time and materials to do it

Perplexed Andy :?

There's plenty of room for a bed up there BUT actually getting up there and into bed would be a major struggle due to the lack of headroom which is why high tops are huge at the front.
