chrome bumpers

hi,has anyone bought a chrome bumper from just kampers? thinking of getting one and wondering how high qaulity the chrome is.

One of our first after market places for parts on the net,,,,,,,,,BUT many of the copy parts they supply are a million miles away from any OEM items.

Chrome Bumpers from them are OK but wont stand an English winter to be fair.......I think they would admit this also.....

and i believe the mounting holes are not in the right place.

It's the same with the primed bumpers. My rear bumper needed fettling. It's as if they have drilled the holes at the correct pitch before forming the slight bow shape on the bumper thus reducing the distane between the 2 holes

Love that term - fettling. My whole life has been one continuous fettle..... :rofl

If their bumpers are like so many repro chrome bits, the chome won't last long. The only other option is getting a plain one and trying to find a good deal from a chroming place. Not an avenue I've explored but it probably costs more than a new decent one.
