Any body know mine hasn't got any markings on after a quick look the other day it looks quite perished.

hi,

Got the same problem here Phil, got a 1y, I.9 diesel engine and didn't get much joy from a VW motorfactors when I asked for spare belt as they asked for any details that might be written on it too so can get the :roll: right one?

Assuming it is the fan belt you're after - not the main drive belt? - had look at ours this afternoon for details and basically the smaller belt (drives alternator I think?!) had the following on:

LMI 182 8701 (CA)
AUX 10X 6431 00E (CA)

In case it's the main belt you're after? Bit harder this one as a lot of the lettering has been worn off, but basically what was readable was this:

MICRO V 03377 Or it might be MICRO V 63377 MADE IN SPAIN, can't quite tell I'm afraid because of the wear unfortunately!?

Anyway. Hope this might help?

Thanks very much I imagine it's the same size a the 1.6 and the other diesel engines??
