My horn(on steering wheel)

Post by hixsy »

Ok everytime I turn the wheel to a certain position it sounds the horn, any cures for this? Also wondering where your horn has to be, i mean without it being in the obvious places are you ok to have one on the dash or somewhere different. Wats the requirements for an not pass? Thx

There was something wrong with the metal connectors on my indicator stick - may be worth looking at, anyways...problem was still there after changing it so my horn button is on the dash next to the instrument pod...a big red button - I'm looking for an 'WARNING - Ejector Seat' sticker to put above it

passed MOT no problems

:ok

The horn button on my '87 Syncro is knackered. So the horn is connected to a little red push-button mounted on the dash at the seven o'clock position relative to the centre of the steering wheel. No prob's with the MOT after he was told where it was. Let's face it, how many times do you use it anyway? :D
