BHP??? Help please.

Post by cruiseyboy »

Hi. I need to get a new back box exhaust for my 1985 T25 but there are 2 options depending on the BHP of my 1.9 engine. How do I find out what it is?

DG is 78 hp
df is less, but cant remember the figure.....

dont think its a DF on a 85, so go with 78.

engine number on oil breather tower base, next to alternator....

mine was DF on camper registered in 85. But I think 2 types of exhaust for 1.9 early (up to 85?), manifold pipes from each cylinder head connect to opposite ends of silencer, and late all manfold pipes combine and go in one end of the silencer. DF and DG blocks are the same...

DF = 60 bhp
