Westy table securing knob...

No matter how hard I seem to tighten this it doesnt really seem to do a great job of holding the table in place (either folded in or out) - you can still move it... am i doing something wrong?

Mine is the same. I think the clamp just gets worn away after 20-odd years of people yanking the table out without remembering to loosen it first.

I just shove a cushion behind it so it doesn't smack against the inside wall whilst I'm driving...
