strange window seals

Hi I need help. This may sound like a stupid question to those in the know...but I don't know which is why I'm asking

I've looked everywhere for answers but still have no idea

Basically I need to replace all 3 side window seals on my T25. The window seals consist of three parts - the outer soft rubber & inner soft rubber seal which surrounds the glass AND then a hard plastic part that fits over the inside carpet. The point being is that it is all one piece as you can see in the picture. Is this normal?

I've been in contact with JK & also Schofield and they've been no help! Do the side window seals come with the hard part attached as standard or do you just get the soft window rubber seal which would mean buying the hard plastic part separate.

While I'm here on my VIN details apart from country of origin every letter is a Z so I have no idea if my camper is a conversion or not! Any advice would be hugely appreciated.

I'm not an expert in window seals. Though I just had my windows tinted and had to purchase all new window seals. Mine is a conversion, it used to be a panel van. I brought my converted van seals from VW Status. I only had to replace the soft rubber. The other internal piece was separate and didn't need replacing.

If it is hard plastic I would have thought it is seperate from the window seal and fits under the lip of the window seal which holds it in place.

you have a converted panel van the internal soft and hard seal are just a closing trim as the panels are double skinned where the windows are cut.
the seal that the window fits to the van with is called "window seal for panel van conversion"
and wll come with two parts a seal and a locking strip (locking strip to outside)

Could you fit the locking strip on the inside to stop anyone taking your windows out to get in the van? Just a thought

it is doable but if they want your windows a stanley knife and 30 secs and its done anyway

If they have a stanley knife rather then just a long fingernail to pick out the filler the pull
