Help still needed
I have a 1986 Camper Vw t25 transporter 1900cc water-cooled (DG)
My engine had a broken engine stud so I started look about on the net
And found one EBay said to be reconditioned
My original engine has got electronic ignition
The 2nd engine has got points
Turned engine, was tight, now turns quit freely
But will not fire
Fitted my distributor (electronic)
Set to top dead centre no1 cylinder is off set (point to no4 cylinder)
Put in points distributor set to top dead centre - no1 cylinder is right
Should I change coil or get new electronic dizzy
Tried moving plug leads to suite still will not fire
It has a new battery plus new starter
May have some wiring issues, will take photos and put online
Can anybody recommend anyone in the Nottingham Area? who works on t25’s
Also help with getting the best out of the forum!
