Post by Rey »

still trying to get my eber d2l working on my 1990 westy atlantic, can anyone tell me the part number for the pump as mine has packed up and i cant make out the numbers on the pump, have tested the wires to the pump and with the thermostat on and turned up to 7 i get a constant live reading,is this right as i thought it is supposed to pulse on and off am thinking maybe the control unit is also shot? any help would be much appreciated as im getting to my wits end!

Test your pump by touching 12v to the two terminals after disconnecting the heater connections to it - if you get a click there is nothing wrong with it.
Have you followed the operation list in the manual? (Operation on page 13) Any 12v pump will do - Webasto or Eberspacher - might have to adjust the fuelling rate if set up for a different heater.
