hello ive just had trouble starting the van this evening i was on LPG when i stopped. it wouldn't fire back up so i switched over to petrol and it wouldnt fire up after a few turns the battery dropped down to 10Volts when trying to start.
I had to suck petrol to the pump as inline filter was dry and not gettin thro still no good. then had a jump start after 2/3 starts fired up went for a run stopped then try again started up but sounds slow turning over
when running at the baterry im gettin 13-14volts not running 12volts.
Ive always had problems with starting on LPG its a 50/50 chance it will start on LPG i was wondering if my battery on its way out and why didnt the petrol pump pull the petrol up when line was dry?? any ideas folks

Re: starting / battery / LPG
D you just wind it over when trying to sart on LPG??
The way to do it is to switch ign on, apply some throttle BUT DO NOT try to start..
Wait for the "click" as the LPG control shuts off the gas (2-3 seconds)..
Turn off ign.. turn back on use a small amount of throttle and start...
BUT, if the idle bleed on the vaporiser is set too low, then even that isnt going to work..

Re: starting / battery / LPG
Sometimes starts on gas?? when its warm/been running already??
Mine will always start without "prime" if warm or not stone cold.. but if left overnight/all day needs the "prime" then starts every time..

Re: starting / battery / LPG
right i'l tired what you said i switched over to LPG when driving drove the van a couple of miles stopped the van sat for 5mins turned ign on fired up applyied some throttle no probs then left it an hour or 2 did the same no probs then just went outside wouldnt start st all so flicked switch back to petrol started up.
The temperture has dropped so do i need to start this way when cold foot down on throttle foot off turn on ign wait for coil to click then switch off then switch back on n turn ign on
