Been offered 2 front ford galaxy seats. Does anyone know if they will fit?

Not without serious grinding and welding the runners are two narrow, I like the second row seats that fold flat and have armrests, its taken ages to fabricate the right slides and runners to retain all the functions and still fit.

They will be worth it when finished but not a quick or simple job.

Easiest seats to fit are from Saab 9-5 - buy them complete with runners. Remove VW runners, the only difficult bit as they are spot welded unless on turntable(s). Fit Saab seats in place, runner width same as VW +/- 5mm. Use M8 bolts with washers and spring washers.
