after 3 sleepless nights

i've been trying to work out how the best way to fit windows into my panel van ,

can you buy kits ?

is it a total ass to fit factory windows ?

running out of time as i have 8 weeks to finish the van

any advice would be helpful as most of the prep is finished and would like to finish on time

to fit caravelle/kombi glass with recessed windows as per the factory is a lot of work, serious welding for the pro/top amateur, so most panelvans have the panels cut and the glass let in. You can use the factory plane glass yes, the new window strip deals with the curve, best to find the glass first. You can fit a caravelle sliding door with glass, that's all you really need for driving safety and view out the back

Given your track record I'd be getting it done by Van Windows or one of the specialist firms. They'll fit them properly and guarantee their work.

Leave the back as is just put a window in the slider and panel opposite, no need for back windows!

I believe you'll find 'my' facebook is solely the domain of my eldest daughter ... who mostly uses it as a means of ridiculing her old Dad :twisted: ... she'll regret it .. once I find out What the blithering heck to do on it :|

The Present Mrs Hulley (God Bless Her !) has a small but select group of cider-swilling cronies .... I was apparently made a 'friend' of hers the other day .... not bad after 26 years I thought. :lol:
