Got a neighbour who's got an 87 auto-sleeper and his fridge keeps cutting out when running off electric anyone had this problem and if so what was it?

How does he know it's cutting out?

Which electric is he talking about, the 12volt side or the 240volt side?

The 12 volt side runs at full belt as long as the engine is running.

It could be something as simple as a knackered heating element, he would have to take them out and test them, simple once there out.

There is a thermostat type gizmo situated on/near the freezerbox fins, this could get damaged by cramming too many beer cans.
