2 litre Aircooled solex carb problem

been having a tinker with the van tonight i found that the automatic choke part on the carb was loose as hell and was flappin when i used the accelaraor. found that i had too take the round part marked solex off too get at it. any tightened it all up and found that i must have got the spring part inside in the wrong place does anyone know how too set them cos its overfueling too death now

I'm sure Solex choke setting is covered in the haynes if you have a copy

Make sure the larger end of the spring is seated in the carb body properly
that it is not kinked and that the heater element is good and working
AGG 2.0L 8V. (Golf GTi MkIII)
