2.1 with a problem

Hubby put this on the forum before, but noone came up with an answer!!

I have a 2.1 caravelle and when you accelerate above 3000 revs its compleately gutless, miles to the gallon is terible too.

Ha s any one got any idea or do we just need to strip and rebuild the engine?

please help

What i should have said is last time it was on here no one came up with a SENSIBLE answer!!!!!

Yes I have tried 2nd gear and 3rd and 4th and 5th.

But as your going up a hill in 5th and the engine starts to struggle then it worse if you go down a gear!

Got any sensible answers not another leak???

too lean a mixture, or fuel starvation , or too much air? check sensors
