auxillary battery questions.
I recently installed a heavy duty split charge kit from raw componants & it works well i used a second car battery to test it out.I am asking advice as to the right choice of battery to use ie leasure or starter battery .What would be running off the auxillary battery would be a D2 eberspacher heater overnight usage .So do i replace with a 75 ampere rated starter battery as the same on the van or a leisure batt like seen on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/12V-90AH-LOW-HEIG ... 19b801f6b9" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. If i use a leisure battery what type of mains charger would be suitable and suggestions to a reasonable price one would be appreciated .Oh would the ampare of the batteries i discribed be up to the job before a charge from the aternator or a mains charger.

Re: auxillary battery questions.
leisure battery or starter battery?... it depends on your useage
if you intend to camp off the national grid for long periods.. then a leisure battery is your boat.
for weekends and short breaks I use starters.
leisures like to be charged by phased chargers.. available from Lidl about £15
