Where is the best place to get new bumpers (preferably ones that fit straight on), not the "JK rubbish"

i'm in the same boat, i assume you are just talking about the black metal bumpers front and back?

I have had stuff from chris at vw emporium before and been pleased but would like some feedback on the bumpers as its quite a prominent part needs to look right!

Cheers

Any thoughts on the 'Big GTi' style bumpers, I have the black metal ones but thinking about changing?

I got a rear bumper kit from custom and commercial. I had to elongate one hole by about 10mm to get it to fit (seems like the holes were drilled before the bumper arch was formed  ) but it seems just as good as the original I took off. Especially after I painted it with black rustoleum

Was about £20 cheaper when I bought the kit

http://www.customandcommercial.co.uk/pr ... tegory=371" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - rear bumper parts

Everything seems to be 25% dearer than the last time I looked

I have a chrome rear from custom and commercial,ok quality, fitted fine but a little wavy along the top edge, brought it before a few price increases, not sure i'd pay what they cost now.

Couple of years i reckon, few coats of red oxide or hammerite to the rear of em but i wouldn't take anything abrasive to it,autosol etc to it coz that chroming is,well i reckon Brazillian 'quality'
