sites in brecon please!

hi all ,
thinking of going on our first outing to brecon ,looking for a site within walking distance would be good ,has anyone stayed or got any good advice on brecon ?

easiest would be bishops meadow as there is a bus terminus outside which takes you in to town :ok

hi jason ,thanks for the reply ,ive just been on thier website and they arent open yet so i think ive found a decent site in builth wells that is open and is in walking distance of the town :)

pencelli is a belter, award winnig bogs etc and right by the brecon canal.

the star pubs just down the road and they do superb real ale and home cooked local grub :ok

we have stayed at Brynich, nice site with a playground for the kids. Only issue we had was it's a bit close to the main road so there was a little bit of road noise.
We haven't stayed at Pencelli Castle, it looks lovely but as far as I can recall it has a no dogs rule - so no good for us.
Riverside International has a swimming pool I think, but haven't stayed there.

if you're contemplating Builth then you could try Llangattock nr Crickhowell. Park Farm is a open all year and next to the canal.
