Squeaks

Post by mwheatley »

Hi All,

I have some awful squeaks underneath the passenger side front of my van. I think it may be bushes, but having been on Brickwerks I see there are a number of different bushes (top, bottom etc etc). Any ideas on which I should go for? I hear "poly" bushes would be better than the normal rubber ones, again any idea where I could get these from?

One last thing.....squeaky seats......is it just a case of spraying oil on them, do I have to remove them from the van first? Is this an easy job?

Thanks for all the help in advance.

If you suspect it to be a rubber bush that is squeaking and it isn't worn out or busted try squrting it with washing up liquid.

Thanks guys. I'm suspecting that they may be worn and probably been on the van for 20yrs! Maybe replacements are in order.
