hammerite the engine?

Post by clartsonly »

Has anyone hammerited the entire engine with smooth hammerite I used gunk to clean it and didn't clean the gunk off properly so it has turned rusty looking. I painted the rocker covers yesterday and then decidced to do the top of the inlet manifold is it okay to do the rest of it, or does the engine get too hot? the exhaust is seperate and not yet fitted still.

Clartsonly, I think the engine will get a bit to hot for Hmmerite but you can get engine paint
