just wondering if any of u guys got one fitted.
my van has a vdo tempostat cruise control fitted ,its been disconnected, probably for a good reason.
as the things to list gets shoter (touch wood) i might reconnect and see if it works.
so im wondering are they rare ? was it fitted from new? or should i leave it alone
your views please

I've got an aftermarket cruise control, but like you I've never dared to use it.. Something about it being glued to the dash and connected to the control unit via some bathroom plumbing rejects doesnt inspire me with confidence.

If I can locate a suitable replacement for the big vacuum hose in the back that it intersects, i'll remove it.

I have OEM cruise control, I dont think it has any branding other than VW on it though.
Wonderfull invention, saves the muscles in your right leg.

I want cruise control... been trying to find a sensible priced kit or used original kit, with little luck...

Cruise control is great if you are covering long distances on a reg basis...
