Sump plug

Post by banana »

I cant shift it with my socket set or ring spanners. Is it supposed to be so tight? Im afraid I'll damage it by trying to undo it.

Yes cold...oops

So when warm I shouldn't need a 3 foot scaffold pole to do it and it should be pretty much like any other sump plug that I can undo with a ring spanner?

or finger tight plus a 1/2 turn with a spanner - should be enough if you fit a new copper seal ring, as you should

I was refering to the single plug you can see through a hole they made in the tin. I presumed that was it?
