T25 RESPRAY

Post by karl40 »

I have a t25 1983 Devon poptop WBX in vw beige and want to have it resprayed. The body is fairly good with the small bits of rust being done by me all i want to know if anyone else has had a repaint done and how much should i be prepaired to pay. Its not going to be anything fancy just the original colour. Cheers karl.

I spent the whole night looking at roller painting on vans and it seems too good to be true. How hard wearing is this Rustolem paint?

Bargain! I'm going to see what I can get for my cash.
Did you go a different colour from your interior, or did you get resprayed in and out?
Just I figure it'd be alot more expensive changing the colour with having to remove engine etc. I'm looking to keep same or similar colour.

Spent £2k last summer via a mate of a mate and got a full respray in the original colour - had all the glass and rubbers out, dents and welding scars taken care of, bumpers resprayed front and back, doors off. Great job, took about three weekends including all the prep work. You get what you pay for is my advice. Heres apic of what she looks like now:
