After some Ba####D ran in to our van in the night and drove off! rear left hand side damage!I desperately need help locating a D pillar? The insurance company say they can get most parts for the repair (£4000) worth!!! but can not locate a D pillar whatever that is!! if I cant find one then they might write the van off!!! any help would be great!!!

I think your "bluestar" D pillar is the same as a panel van D pillar

they are now obsolete.

I've been after one for ages, I have a right side, but left side is going to be second hand

But the website does not list it any more..it's a ghost page

Sorry to butt in,

but the above part is not obsolete, I have just got one and fitted it to my van, not an easy job! You can get a genuine VW part from Just Campers its exactly the same as the one in the picture the panel with steel vents is obsolete. Having read the above thread again my panel was a drivers side so Im not sure if L/H is available worth a check though

Just checked myself and it seems you are all correct, good job I only needed the R/H corner panel good look

No problem
but you can get the Air cooled rear corners (steel vents).. they are available.

I could suggest aquiring one and modifying it by cutting the steel vent out
