JK engine
Has anyone fitted a jk engine (1.6 diesel) to their bus - the jk engine is out of the 84 / 86 golf caddy etc range, and if so how many litres of oil do you use, mine is taking 6.5 litres to the max mark, which seems a little too much. do you have to change the sump when fitting into a t25 ???

Re: JK engine
This ought to be in the alternative engine forum...
But If the engine is laid down as per a std T25 D.. then yes you have to use the T25 sump, oil pump etc etc etc... using the golf sump would mean the oil pump could suck air and the dipstick would be wrong... thats why you are getting 6.5L in...... all wrong...
