3 new items currently at the machine shop.

Stainless steel fuel tank sender unit retainer rings.
Come complete with 2 rubber gaskets, A2 stanless nylocs and A2 washers
Complete kit - £23.52 plus VAT

Stainless steel front brake splash plates
Stainless sheet with welded boss to space away from hub, so nice and close to the disc.
Will come with a few extra holes, we'll get to that bit in a minute....
Pair of plates, a vans worth - £32.16 plus VAT.

Stainless steel and rubber front CV joint protectors
To be used in conjunction with the above, a upgrade kit for the splash plates, if you can't afford them both then but the splash plates first and then upgrade to CJ joint protectors later.
Upgrade kit - £40 plus VAT a pair

All on order, at machine shop and should be here within the month.
Prices liable to change, as usual, but shouldn't be far off so long as the machine shop havn't cocked up.

Oh, syncro ARB drop links just landed and back on webshop, buy them before the Americans clear me out again!!

Interested, just weighing up what I can sell to fund the entire front end overhaul I want to get done.

Aidan will be sorting me a recon diff with difflock (mines without atm) and I have refurbed uprights ready too.

Would prefer to do it all at once with front difflock upgrade, the splashguards and shaft protectors, plus those AVO's and 2wd springs so saving up it must be.

Once I sell either spare van expect a nice big fat order. :D

If it's a Kombi I wouldn't use the 2WD springs, got one in at the moment with them on, it's like a skateboard, very firm, not very comfy.

Simon, you're a tip-top chappie! :D I looked at my splash plates a couple of days back (well, not actually the splash plates I'm not that nerdy, but the top ball joint) and realised that they need replacing, so I looked them up on one or two sites and nearly had a cardiac arrest! Yours look very reasonably priced, so do I order and pay for them when I order the ball joint, probably tonight, or do I wait until they're in stock?

Would that apply if I were to add the extra weight of a Westy roof and interior Simon?

Probably not.
One I have at work at the moment has 2WD HD fronts, and about 30mm of packing under the rear, it sits level but it has a heavy engine
I wouldn't use them with the coil overs, no need to, you get your height from adjustable spring platform, not the spring.
Depends on what you want to do, road miles then stock dampers and 2WD HD springs, but if you want to off road it then go softer, either standard springs and coilovers or 2WD normal springs, you get your lift but nice and soft.
Horses for courses, depends on what you want and what your going to use it for, to me if you buy a syncro it's to use it off road.

Oh... and..

I just bought a T-shirt printing machine...

Watch the webshop for a load of syncro T-shirts...

Basically, anything I have a sticker for on the webshop I should soon be able to do as a T-shirt.

Aidan had my first attempt! I think that's when he mentioned Diet...

Ay up,
I knew sooner or later someone would do the decent thing and get some CV Joint Protectors done in stainless at a realistic price. Am I right to presume that the splash guards and cvj protectors are compatible between 14" & 16"?
Simon, if you can get these in within the month can you bring some down to Dub Freeze (assuming you'll be there?)

Ordered and going through the machine shop as we speak.
Dunno if I will get them in time, and I'm not going anyway, don't even think I'm visiting, only doing Vanfest this year.
Someone might bring some down for me, if anyone from this end is going.
