Knackered aerial
Hi guys, my aerial has been playing up lately and I think it's because the rubber has perished leaving the metal inside to turn rusty, Can anyone tell me how to remove the old one ???? Cheers !!

Re: Knackered aerial
screw it from underneath
reach up under the dash
brickwerks sells replacements or get an interior windscreen aerial, I got a blaupunkt one from fleabay which has a much better reception than i had on the standard

Re: Knackered aerial
If your aerial is in the normal location - just below the corner of the windscreen on the nearside - you can get to the nut holding it in place by dropping the glove box and reaching in under the dash (shine a torch in there first to see what you're aiming for).
I replaced mine last year with one from Brickwerks - works great now!

Cheers Neil but mine is on the driver's side, I'll feel up around to see if I can get at the nut, Nice 1neil3965 wrote:If your aerial is in the normal location - just below the corner of the windscreen on the nearside - you can get to the nut holding it in place by dropping the glove box and reaching in under the dash (shine a torch in there first to see what you're aiming for).
