stiff gears

Hi all any know why the gear change in 1.6 td is stiff what could it be and what will it cost to fix thks

just make sure the connection at the gearbox linkage is correct, not loose or out of alignment. I spent a year not being able to get mine into first without a struggle until I checked / adjusted that.

also whats your mileage?
may be worth changing the gear box oil

yes change the gear box oil before you do anything else. I had really stiff gears but changing the oil made a world of difference.
